enroot gatherings provide meaningful, shared experiences that foster a sense of community. These programs seek to uncover commonalities, promote understanding and tolerance, and foster a network of support for those who participate.

Have fun. Maybe learn something. Find your people.

Here are some of our current programs.

York: Crafted features inspiring presentations from York’s makers and doers on their respective crafts, utilizing the PechaKucha presentation format: 20 slides that automatically advance every 20 seconds. Events held quarterly at Warehaus. Free admission, no ticket required.

Monthly gathering where anyone can take a turn at the microphone and tell a true story based on that month’s theme. Held the third Tuesday of the month at Holy Hound Taproom.

Barter-based education series. We offer a week’s worth of sessions (up to three per day) four times per year on a variety of topics. Sessions can be in the form of a hands-on workshop, a lecture/demonstration, or some combination of the two. There is no monetary registration fee; instead, each instructor suggests items or services they will accept in exchange for class participation, and a list is included with each class description.

Independent concert series hosted at York’s Central Market and featuring national touring acts in intimate evening performances.

Annual event featuring a collection of neighbors that each share their experience related to a specific aspect of their identity in the form of one to one conversations with attendees. It aims to establish an open, honest conversational space, inviting meaningful connections.
